Commerce graduate, nine years in accounts, and now the person who builds the tools those years were missing.
· where i come from
the accounting years
I'm a commerce graduate, not a computer science one. Since 2017 I've done bookkeeping, month-end close, GST and TDS compliance, audits and financial statements for businesses in India, the UAE, Cyprus, Kenya and the EU.
That work shows you where businesses lose time: the reconciliation nobody trusts, the stock count that never matches, the report rebuilt by hand every month.
· how i started
spreadsheets, then code
Excel and Power Query first, then VBA. Then Python for payment reconciliations, and n8n to connect the steps to Tally. That pipeline took a day's work down to about an hour per client.
AI coding tools changed how much I could build alone. They write a lot of the code. I decide what gets built, test it against real cases, and fix what breaks.
Werkora came out of that, shaped by two years keeping a manufacturer's accounts and seeing its shop floor up close.

what accounting taught me about software
every number has to tie back
In Werkora, releasing a dispatch draws the stock, raises the invoice and updates the sales order. Nobody types the same figure twice.
people skip slow screens
My first work-order wizard was bypassed for paper notes. I replaced it with dense tables and one-click actions.
automation needs a reviewer
My reconciliation pipeline drafts entries but never posts them. An accountant signs off on every exception.
